Wonderful short stay, the location is unbeatable if you like beaches and restaurants.

Pros: Great location - lovely sea view from the pool area. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Check in was quick and easy. We're were given two large interconnecting rooms which was great for our party of two adults and two teenagers.

Cons: The room decor was a little dated however the room was spotlessly clean.

Not the cheapest but definitely worth a visit

Pros: Amazing hotel in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Holiday classic - sunbeds are taken en mass at the crack of dawn. There is a sign saying towels will be removed if they are not not used within 30 minutes but I did not see this enforced once.

Excellent, managed to get a late check out at the last minute with no extra charges.

Pros: Staff were all friendly and helpful with any request. Breakfast by the pool was excellent with a terrific buffet and also a chef on hand to make omelets and eggs to order.

Cons: No real downside to our stay at this lovely hotel

Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful position close to the beach and all the facilities of Vale do Lobo. It is far from a cheap hotel but everything is as you'd expect from a top class hotel.

Cons: Some of the reception staff are not all that friendly.

Pros: Check in staff very accommodating as I had to amend my booking.

Cons: Useful to have a gym at the hotel or get a discount at the gym up the road as it's very expensive.

We wished the days were 36 hours long when staying at the Dona Filipa

Pros: Third time staying at the hotel in the space of 10 years, another great stay. Staff were friendly and helpful as ever, from the reception to the restaurant staff to the cleaning staff. Wonderful place to lounge by the pool, walk on the beach which is just a short stroll away, and even the tourist trap restaurants down the street were enjoyable. Special shout out to Well, the food was amazing. Will definitely come again!!

Cons: Only hiccup was I booked a premium room with a golf view and a bathtub, and even after swapping we got the bathroom but we still didn't get the view but decided to stick with it anyway. I'm not sure how much of the issue comes from the hotel or from booking.com itself but it made the arrival less pleasant than it could have been
