Casa São Francisco Old Town Faro

Pros: The room was really nice and clean. I had room 1 with the green couch. It's located on a quiet street but really close to the center and a large parking area. The roof is nice for breakfast in the sun or just for chilling. For the price this is a great option!

Cons: One shower might not be enough when all rooms are full. I didn't have a problem with availability. Planes do come over quite low but this is everywhere in Faro

Great location, clean and well stocked kitchen

Pros: Location, cleanliness and the kitchen is well stocked with essentials. My single room has also a balcony which is nice when the sun is out

Cons: It can get a little cold after sunset. There is air condition which warm the room quickly.

Pros: The location is amazing, just 5 min walking from the city centre. Clean, nice and safe for solo travelers. I totally recommend it!

Cons: It was cold but it’s January so I had to put on AC, which is fine. What’s missing in the bathroom is a hanger for a toilet paper and some shelf for cosmetics. Also, under shower it would be nice to have one.

Great stay in Faro

Pros: -the place is very central in Faro; great for both train / bus; boats; walking in city center -I stayed in room 5; which was a tiny room but with private bathroom; and access to shared kitchen. There was aircon, hairdryer. The bed was comfy, I had good quality of sleep. -the WiFi works well; I had to do some work in related calls and they went fine -staff was very clear; responsive and accommodating. I requested an early check-in and they were able to arrange it -finally in low season at 32 euro per night it felt like a great bargain

Great place for staying in Faro

Pros: The location is great, very center yet quiet. Rooms and social areas are well equipped, clean and well maintained. The host was very helpful with all the questions. The room has a small desk/ work station for a laptop in case you work remotely.

Cons: Seems like the hot water is limited in the evening (but reheated very fast). It would be helpful to have a sign or note about it that you need to wait a bit after another person takes a shower. But it didn’t affect the stay

Excellent choice for a good value stay in central Faro

Pros: Beautifully tucked away but close to the very heart of Faro, it offers all the comfort that you need from a modern apartment stay. I was in the single room with private bathroom and it was small but beautifully equipped. Everything was spotless and felt very new and fresh. The bathroom again is small but with a good shower. Good access to a small private terrace and the communal terrace a few stairs up. All the staff I met were amazing. Very friendly and helpful.

Cons: For me, maybe it's my eyes, but coming back to the property in the dark, the lighting could have been a little bit brighter along the path, particularly as the single room is up some stairs. The shared kitchen is great but again down the stairs, so carrying back food to eat in the room rather than in the kitchen would be easier with a little more lighting.

Pros: Very cosy and quiet room. All areas are very clean. Perfect place in Faro to stay at. Very close to the old town but quiet and not as busy as center. Would highly recomment this guesthouse. Thank you.
