Villa Maresia

Lovely large villa, excellent for Families and near to the beach.

Pros: Large spacious villa with a lovely pool and games room in the basement. Location was a little way out, but nice and quiet. The closest supermarket is quite expensive, but the Agent did inform us about that, and we used an Aldi a bit further away.

We had a fabulous time in villa maresia.

Pros: Location was excellent. Near beach and supermarket. Very quiet location.

Cons: Beds were rather hard.

Pros: Great location for beach, restaurants and supermarket, good sized rooms, pool a nice size and good temp, nice eating area outside kitchen, kitchen well equipped, good air conditioning in all rooms and great games room area. Great responsive communication from staff.

Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable for all adults, putting both duvets to sleep on helped a small amount. Weeding around pool area needed attention, lighting around pool at night was inadequate

Pros: The villa was beautiful. spacious. and the perfect location for our family holiday. Fusion sports bar - Local, amazing food, arcade for kids and the owners are lovely. The villa itself, was clean, lots of amenities. The swimming pool was a great size, family of 7. The games room for quiet evenings was an added bonus. pool, darts, table tennis. It also has a basket ball net in the lower drive way. Excellent air conditioning in every room, and thoroughly cleaned inside and out Beach is literally a 7 minute walk. the local supermarket, across the deserted building ground (not as bad as it sounds) is a 2 minute walk. They had absolutely everything and a lovely cafe/bar attached. just remember, they all close in the afternoon!

Cons: We felt a few details were lacking, especially for the price paid. Not enough soap, dishwasher tablets for the 7 days. no basic condiments, salt, pepper, oil etc. There was only 1 toilet roll per room. No basket ball for use and we ended up buying our own table tennis rackets and balls. as these were missing. We had a severe issue with ants, however, this is not an issue with the villa or the host, just a suggestion to perhaps, make sure there is sufficient actions in place to prohibited the ants from taking over. The outside dining area, is directly in front of the outside air con unit, so when we were sat in 37 degrees heat, we also had to endure the heat of the air con unit. We opted for eating indoors after the 2nd evening. We also had a very basic arrival letter, which left me more concerned then welcomed. it stated about breakages, fines, penalties. yet no precise details of this. so i ended up messages when 1 glass was broken, panicking that was my deposit gone, turns out, that's ok. So maybe clarify this going forward. Also, not TV instructions, could not connect our own log ins. Again, not major, but some families will want access to their TV, online films etc. i am quite technical, and even I could not get the USB or HDMI leads to transfer the screens.

Pros: Location was superb, close to beautiful beach, supermarket and a handful of restaurants. Area around villa very peaceful.

Excellent location and beautiful villa, perfect for 6 persons!

Pros: The location is amazing, two minute walk from beautiful Galé beach! The villa is huge, spacious, good sized bedrooms all with a bathroom! The games room is fantastic, table tennis, pool table, darts and table football. Kids loved it. The pool and outdoor area is excellent and I loved the lemon tree and patio to the rear. Electric shutters on every window make for cool rooms but there is air con. Plenty of cutlery and equipment for a home from home feel!

Cons: The beds are quite hard. The area is residential and a lot of local people were doing building and maintenance work on villas which disturbed the peace most days sadly. The breakage deposit is a clause to watch for, I had to chase the refund and I think it is an excessive amount held for an unreasonable duration.

Perfect seaside getaway for low stress pool, beach, activities

Pros: Location is great - very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and to an amazing supermarket. Property itself was very well set up for our needs - lots of space, child-friendly for the younger kids (stair gates, and baby-friendly table-ware), and for older kids and adults with a games room, and a nice pool! Local beach is very good - sandy, clean, good facilities, and has surf/SUP rental/lessons. A short drive then into ZooMarine water park, Albufeira, or the Algarve shopping. And of course, the locals are very nice.

Cons: Property could use a little TLC, but this didn't detract from the experience in any way.

Superbe villa proche de la mer

Pros: La villa est idéalement située proche de la plage. Elle est spacieuse et propre. Il y a de la place pour les voitures, de grands espaces communs et les espaces extérieurs sont entretenus.

Cons: L'annonce indiquait 4 salles de bain et il n'y en avait en réalité que 3. Il n'y avait souvent pas assez d'eau chaude pour tout le monde malgré le fait que nous prenions des douches rapides. De plus, des odeurs d'égouts ou de canalisations se faisaient sentir dans la chambre située à l'étage.
