Stay Hotel Faro Centro

Pros: Lovely bright clean room. Modern bathroom & very nice spacious terrace. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Great location. Would stay here again .

Cons: Nothing but take your own tea & coffee. There is a kettle but only 1 teabag was left for us.

City break stay

Pros: Excellent city location. No views as such as a consequence but we weren’t there to look out of the window. Our room on 4th floor was by the lift but wasn’t noisy. The room was a decent size but in need of a refurb. The carpet needs cleaning. Bed was comfortable enough (when extra pillows had been requested). Enough storage/power sockets. There were a lot of light switches but we could only get one lamp to work! The bathroom by contrast has been newly fitted and very nice it is. Towels were new. Toiletries provided & replaced. Cleaning daily by request. We purchased breakfast on a couple of days and it was good value. All staff we met with were pleasant and professional.

Cons: Just the areas that needed a refurb as above.

Great stay

Pros: Clean bedroom and bathroom was surprised how quiet room was too I was on 5th floor . Breakfast was good value if not included in booking you can pay €10 in the morning Centrally located and load of cafes /shops nearby 5 Min walk to bus station 6 mins to train station

Perfect for a late arrival short stay hotel.

Pros: Location perfect for a short stay. Reception staffed in late evening. No nonsense check in. Room (good size) basic, yet comfortable and clean with great shower. I would recommend. Very reasonably priced.

Cons: win room and had everything required. The bathroom was extremely tight. When you sat on the toilet for example you had to sit slightly sideways as your legs were hitting the shower. The shower was again tight. I bent down at one point in the shower to pick up my shampoo and cut my head on a handle that was on the inside of the shower door. On one of the days the breakfast was cold but other than that the breakfast had great choice and for the price was adequate

Nice stay in Faro

Pros: Friendly staff, clean hotel, great location and the bathroom was very nice with a massive shower and window and the extras onsite (eg cafe/bar) were good. It’s on a quieter street but right next to the main shopping spaces and attractions like the marina. Also very accommodating and had great customer service

Cons: The window didn’t open but the room stunk of citrus. Overnight it became very hot and stuffy and the air conditioning was extremely loud but also ineffective as it didn’t cool me down. When I tried to turn it off it didn’t work as there was a message saying I can only turn it off with a remote (that wasn’t in the room), and I was stuck with it on all night
