Baixa Terrace Hostel

Pros: Right in the center. Staff friendly. Good space with clean facilities and all the thing you need in kitchen. A terrace, which is pretty big overlooking the street.

Cons: One electric socket fell out the wall but there was another one.

Pros: The place is very well located, easy to find, and close to the main attractions in the city. It’s clean, well equipped, everything works perfectly, and the terrace is lovely.

Good value for money, great location.

Pros: Location is great. Not a very busy area but still close to the centre. Beds are okay. Facilities as well. Check-in was easy.

Cons: Bathroom/toilets were not very clean. Walls are thin.

Great for a pre flight stay.

Pros: Very good, comfortable, clean and the reception lady was excellent, unlike the 2 in the main hotel. She was working late and was really helpful.

Pros: Great location Basic but clean Lots of common spaces

Cons: Room was so hot! Had a fan but didn’t do much to cool us down Showers were fine- could be improved (there was construction happening so maybe this was being done)

Pros: The property is very clean and centrally located. Staff is very kind. Mattress is very comfortable. Very good value.

Friendly hostel with a beautiful roof terrace

Pros: The property was clean and welcoming. A large roof terrace was available which was a fantastic place to spend some time

Location location location

Pros: Location, roof terrace ,price ,stayed here twice if wasn't good ,would not have come again ,obviously did so all good ,everything in walking distance ,all flat terrain ,bus station, train station harbour ferry to beach ,bus to beach or airport all at a leisurely 10 min walk ,cashpoints, bars restaurants, Chinese indian, supermarket etc 3 to 5 mins depending on your requirements, all good

Cons: No bin on roof terrace,should you decide to venture up there ,the roof terrace could really do with a tidy up ,not scruffy at all ,however a general tidy up is required, ,properly secure the artificial grass ,some plants in pots wouldn't go amiss to break up the concrete jungle that surrounds the panoramic view ,and proper seating ,and sun loungers would be highly beneficial, its actually a wasted space at present, usable yes but not aesthetically pleasing to the eye

Pros: Location, 5 mins from bus station, train station, 5 mins from Chapel of bones ,supermarket 3 mins ,loads of bars restaurants, 2 3 minutes walk

Cons: Roof terrace great ,however need bins on roof ,and secure artificial grass properly, minor issues ,other than great ,location is fantastic

Pros: Excellent staff, old house and facilities but very clean

Cons: There's no heating and it was quite chilly in winter
