Enjoyable family holiday in Vale do Lobo

Pros: Great apartment with lots of space in all rooms, its own pool and outdoor area, including bbq. Fairly central location so easy to access the beach, shops and restaurants - although Bolt / Uber was very necessary for some of these.

Cons: Not clear how to find / access the property - the building number is hidden and the entrance is at the back of the building - this led to a group of 6 of us lugging our full suitcases around cobbled paths looking how to get in. The lift wasnt very helpful neither and we ended up having to carry them up a flight of stairs. Not a good start to the holiday. I was also expecting the 'shuttle bus' to be included in the rental (it was the last time we stayed at VDL) however it was not - so we had to use Bolt / Uber to get around the VDL complex.

Nice apartment for a group

Pros: Great pool, nice kitchen, interesting location, the company were quick to reply to our problems, check in was easy, and the apartment was comfortable.

Cons: We ran out of toilet roll, we asked the staff for more but they didn't get us any. There was also an ant problem on the kitchen, so be careful leaving food out. I also thought it was expensive for what we got.

Loved it, will return.

Pros: V high specification with personal touches. The apartment and outside areas were outstanding. I also loved the kitchen gadgets and the welcome hamper! When we had a minor issue trying to lock a balcony door, they were so responsive, even out of hours. Can’t recommend this apartment enough.

Cons: The only minor issue I guess is the privacy, the neighbours can see in but I knew the road we were booking on and fully expected this. It’s totally worth it for the standard of accommodation.
