Casinha da Ti Babel

Absolutely fabulous gem of a place right in the Old Town.

Pros: Great little place right in the Old Town and walkable to everything. Inside you will find everything you could ever need for self catering. It really does feel like a home away from home with so many thoughtful touches! Absolutely loved our time here. And if you need a haircut there is a fantastic hairdresser literally across the road. Highly recommend Casinha da Ti Babel!! Thank you João for being such a great host!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: This little house is such a wonderful place! It has everything you need small details which makes it special and very comfortable. The owner is very helpful and kind and helped us to find some really nice restaurants during our stay.

Awesome location, awesome host!

Pros: João is a super-host, we were very well looked after: quick responses, loads of suggestions for activities, beach equipment provided, food and drinks in the fridge as a welcoming gift and then souvenirs when leaving. The little house is very well positioned, has a great feel and history to it, everything in the apartment was sparkly clean and well prepared for us. The house has EVERYTHING in it, including new appliances that work perfectly. Great free parking very close nearby, never had any issues.

Cons: The place has no real storage space for clothes or luggage, you will have to be VERY efficient with your space management. Context matters, though: we stayed for 9 nights so we had more stuff to carry around. I would say that it is perfect for a short stay, if you're packing light you will not have any issues.

Pros: We honestly didn’t expect to love Faro as much as we did! The Old Town is super charming, and the marina at sunset is gorgeous. The place was so cozy and in perfect location. We felt very welcomed by the host (João) who was so helpful. He left us a welcome treat and gave us a parting gift which we appreciated so much. Can't recommend this place enough :)

Such a lovely well equipped house and a wonderful host

Pros: Such a lovely story to this house, it was more than a holiday home and had everything you could need from umbrellas to beach equipment. João was a brilliant host giving us info on what to do and restaurants nearby, he even came to check we were okay during the power outage. Great location in the old town with lots of cafes restaurants nearby and 10 minute walk to the harbour. We would recommend this beautiful house for two people.

Pros: Super Host, perfect location in the city center. Nice and clean, could not ask for more in Faro to stay!

Pros: The house is super nice and cozy and João was just the best host ever. He was always available to help and gave us all the info about what to do in the area. It's located in the very center of Faro. We could not ask for a better stay!

Pros: Great and super friendly host Joao. House is tiny, but has everything you need. I would suggest for 2-3 people max. Clean, well equipped, nicely designed. Great location, close to the center, but on a quiet street.

Pros: It is compact but you have everything you need and I mean everything! The location itself was fantastic I could not fault it. The area felt safe and we even stayed in one night and had a nice take away from the local Thai restaurant.

Cons: Nothing I didn’t like at all - all I would say is it was perfect for two people (2 friends or a couple) but 4 would be a bit of a squeeze
