Pros: Very good location. Convenient to everywhere you need. Quiet in nights for sleeping. The landlady is very kind and helpful. When I leave the property, we accidentally closed the door and the key was behind the door into the lock. We thought we made a big trouble and informed the landlady. She quickly responded and sorted this problem for us without any hassles. I would recommend this property to anyone would travel to Faro.

Pros: The location is very central and house is old but clean. Host is extremely kind and friendly and super helpful.

Cons: We went there in winter so rooms were cold as heating didnt work in 1 room. Owner sorted it out next day no problem and provided us with a heating unit too. So no complains

Pros: We stayed for 3 nights in this accommodation and we've had a good time. The accommodation is situated near the historic centre of Faro in a small one-way street, free parking. The house is clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The communication with the host is easy and very good.

A chilled out stress free holiday, Totally enjoyable

Pros: The house was gorgeous and clean, it had everything you needed for the stay as a family especially having 2 bathrooms as we have a typical teenage daughter who took forever in there LOL, Nice size kitchen and seating area for meals with all the utensils for cooking. Supermarket was a 10 min walk away for all your grocery's. Location of the house was about 5 mins from town centre but was super quiet through out, (We was there during the Moto Clube Faro bike rally). Would highly recommend this house to anybody

Pros: We had an incredible stay at this apartment. The location is perfect—right in the city center with everything you need just a short walk away, from restaurants and cafes to shops and historic sites. The apartment itself was spotless and had all the amenities you could want. What really stood out, though, was the host. They were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend it to anyone visiting Faro!

Great apartment in the center of Faro

Pros: Ideal location in Faro - right in the middle of everything, but really quiet. Very nice apartment, ideal for a group or a family. Hosts were so helpful and kind. Totally reccomend.

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!

Pros: This is a great little house in the old town, only a few mins walk from the Marina. We dealt with Joey who met us at the house and was just so lovely and helpful.

Lovely break with an old friend. Weather could have been better!

Pros: The location was great as it was walking distance to the marina and Old Town. We arrived when the whole of Spain and Portugal had power outages which wasn't ideal but within a few minutes of our arrival Fatima and Liliana arrived to check we were ok and leave us candles and matches. It was great to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We caught the ferry to the beach one day which was 4 euros pp return from near the marina. The beach did not have any sunbeds but was beautiful. (30 minutes on the ferry to the beach). We had a lovely lunch overlooking the sea - you turn right along the road and walk for 5-10 minutes otherwise the bars and restaurants only had a view of a wall and the dunes! The Old Town is lovely and we had a fabulous meal in the main square overlooking the Town Hall and Bishops Palace. We had a great steak with fries, veg and pepper sauce for only 23 euros.

Cons: The area is a little rundown especially opposite but this meant that the balcony was not overlooked and very peaceful! The bedrooms could do with mirrors for applying make up etc as if in the smaller bedroom you have to go to the bathroom downstairs. I didn't find the plug socket in the bathroom for the hair drier but apparently it is in the bathroom cabinet!

Beautiful traditional home in Faro

Pros: Perfectly situated only a few minutes walk to waterfront and centre of Old Town. Great communication with host before and during our stay. House was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Really good restaurants and cafés on the doorstep. If you want an authentic local experience, don't hesitate to book, you'll be glad you did. We really enjoyed our few days at Casa das Andorinhas and look forward to our next visit, thanks Joey for looking after us so well.

Pros: Owners were very helpful and fitted in with our flights for check-in. Location - central, but very peaceful at night. Easy access to the old town and restaurants and the seafront. Having 2 bathrooms was great.

Cons: Many of the surrounding buildings were derelict, looked quite sad. Hopefully in time they will either be restored, or replaced by modern apartments.
