Golden Beach Guest House & Rooftop Bar

Nine rooms, perfect size.

Pros: Great staff in all positions throughout the hotel. Location was perfect, and being this close to the airport is not a problem at all because the noise you do hear, is the waves pounding onto the beach just steps from the door. The lovely rooftop bar is glassed in and a great spot to watch the ocean, even when it is churning roughly, blankets thoughtfully provided if it is chilly.

Cons: That we only stayed two nights.

Too short

Pros: Location, extremely attentive staff, nice rooftop bar. i think Guillermo checked us in and he was fantastic. We stayed just one night. Room with partial sea view is partial but you do not come here to stay in the room as place literally on the beach

Idilic location

Pros: Right on the beach, the nature reserve the other side. Just a fabulous location. Friendly, helpful staff and a rooftop bar and restaurant with spectacular views.

All about the location.

Pros: Location is brilliant, couldn’t get any closer to the beach.

Cons: Beds had been pushed together into a Double as booked but bedding wasn’t changed from single sheets and quilts.

Exceptional views

Cons: Unfortunately we stayed following some horrendous weather. It was rainy, windy and stormy so the lovely rooftop bar had to close. Nobody’s fault. Also because of the storms there was no Wi-Fi, TV or radio and mobile 4G data was in and out. Again one of those things. We’d love to stay here again in Summer but at over 200€ maybe not. It’s a wonderful place. The TV is too small for such a good room and there needs to be 2 armchairs not 1 so a couple can both enjoy the view or watch the small TV as you can’t really see it from the bed 😊

Al in all a lovely relaxing few days

Pros: The staff were lovely and extremely helpful The location was perfect for a few relaxing days. Close to a lovely nature reserve and right on the beach. Plenty of tasty restaurants and the rooftop bar was great The rooms were small but comfortable The breakfast was simple but tasty and fresh I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax and have only a short trip to the airport Even though you could see the planes coming and going there was virtually no aeroplane noise The

Great place to defrost a wintertired swede 🇸🇪 🥶 for four days

Pros: Right on the beach, friendly and helpful staff…..the small breakfast for 10 euros was good value and buffé keps well looked after…..continuesly making new scrambled eggs and bacon …… Good waterpressure and temperature………, Close access to electric kickbikes (Bolt, Lime) i travel with small backpack so took the 10 min ride straight from the AirPort to Hotel in only 10 minutes

Cons: No balcony at the rooms altho the public teracces was nice overlooking the beach……

Best in Portugal

Pros: It is right on the beach. The receptionist was one of the friendliest we have met in Portugal, and we have been living here for two years. She really made our final evening in Portugal such a pleasure.

Cons: There is nothing to not like! This place is really amazing!

The perfect location for beach lovers!

Pros: I loved my stay at The Golden Beach. Perfect location, right on the beach. The friendliest of staff, super helpful. Lovely food in the restaurant. I will definitely visit and stay there again!
