Noisy Area but Lovely Apartment

Pros: I loved the modern spacious apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Good air con.

Cons: The location was handy to all amenities but a nearby night club was so noisy - kept awake at night as noise just outside bedroom. Area is a bit run down - lots of graffiti. Another mirror in bedroom would have been useful.

Fun stay in Faro

Pros: Apartment was well equipped and clean. A washing machine would have been great. There was one window with no blind which meant light early. As others have mentioned the noise, music from the bar nearby which starts late and goes till early morning.

Pros: Location is perfect, very close to center but on the quiet street, the room itself is spacious, I did not use the kitchen but seems it had all the things needed. There is also a bathtub and even bidet in the bathroom. I had a roof view, there was a table and chairs to seat outside. The apartment is new and super neat.

Cons: I cant say I did not like it, but the only window/balcony door is actually an entrance, facing common stairs, I did not feel safe to sleep with the window open, as I used to. The aircon helped with the issue. And the automatic light kept switching on and off, so had to use blinds.

Nice apartment in the city center.

Pros: Recently rennovation, Location and space of the rooms. Kindness and detailed instructions and assistance of the host. He assisted us even if we arrived more than two hours later. Cleanliness

Cons: To make it more comfortable it would be enough to have some hooks to hand towels in the bathroom as there’s no way to hang or but toilette stuff. In the kitchen there were no dishcloths and few coffee pods and a bottle of water will be appreciated if you arrive late in the night. Be aware that there’s a bar in the street right below the bedroom where people stay talking and yelling until 5am over the weekend making it impossible to sleep.

Pros: A large clean modern apartment. Located near the train and bus station and close to Marina, old town and restaurants. The host made suggestions for restaurants and bars. The apartment had great new facilities.

Cons: There was some early morning noise from restaurant nearby.

Nice apartment in the centre

Pros: A big specious apartment. Everything is new, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. Good WiFi. Lovely host who helped with everything. I recommend this apartment. Perfect location.

Clean, modern, safe, comfortable, LGBTQ friendly - careful of the nighttime noise.

Pros: Very clean, modern, great utilities there. The bed was really comfortable, the apartment was a good temp, the shower was decent. We were welcomed nicely and let into the apartment early. LGBTQ friendly (this apartment, but also Faro generally seemed safe in that way).

Cons: As everyone else has said - the noise. We didn’t spot those reviews until we’d booked. We stayed week days but I imagine it’s worse on weekends. We did get some sleep and it was manageable but you may be suddenly woken by a motorcycle revving, party goers shouting, or loud blasts of music.

Cons: There is a noise during the night from the bar... but this is not a big deal as long as you are not very sensible

Pros: Host helpful. Provided taxi from airport … excellent ! Good size apartment. Mostly good facilities. Secure location. Clean. Bath and shower. Would recommend

Cons: Unfortunately the weather was not as expected and quite chilly. The air conditioning units did not work at higher temperatures. There was however a small plug in radiator in the bedroom. Only one mug for tea/coffee
