Penthouse Marina

Great property in a great location, needs a little TLC.

Pros: Great location,lovely outdoor space, decent bed, spacious, lovely views, fab Wi-Fi, private parking.

Cons: Bit tired in places, needs updating eg lounge floor damaged, lounge blinds need mending, main bedroom patio doors don’t open, and it would be nice if at least one of the bathrooms had a walk-in shower. Oh and the car park fob needed the attendant to let us through to the private parking which was never a problem but might be when it’s busier.

Great value with top location and huge living space

Pros: The location is excellent. Good pool and close to the marina facilities and a short walk into the Old Town

Cons: The apartment is probably due for a refurbishment, but nothing major.

Pros: Convenient to restaurants and bars, nice pool and lovely views.

Beautiful apartment right on the marina

Pros: Beautiful, fully furnished apartment right on Albufeira marina. Just go down the steps outside, and you'll find shops, restaurants, and amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and a washing machine for doing laundry. The tourist train and a taxi stop are right outside the building. There is a semi-private swimming pool open 24/7. We didn't hear noise from the marina or the other units in the building. It has everything you need to be a home away from home. The host was lovely and helpful whenever we needed him.

Cons: The pool is not heated. When it's 40°C outside, that would be an asset, but when it's not, it's a bit chilly. We found the front door of the apartment tricky to open, but once you know how to do it, it's fine. A couple of furnishings needed an upgrade (held up by books), but that did not interfere with our stay.

Extremely enjoyable winter stay in a great apartment

Pros: The location provides an exceptional view of the Marina. The apartment is very roomy, has attractive art on the walls and an extensive set of kitchen utensils and dishes etc. Rodrigo, our contact, met us at the arranged time, provided us with a parking pass and gave us a detailed explanation of the features of the apartment. He also responded quickly to resolve two issues that occurred ie a door to the balcony damaged during a wind storm and an interruption in electricity in the apartment. Overall our one month stay was extremely enjoyable and we would recommend the apartment to others

Cons: A few of the footstools and an Ikea chair are showing signs of wear . The fan in the second bathroom intermittently makes a high pitch noise and may need maintenance.
