Pros: Great location, lovely view of the sea, remarkably quiet for being so central. Spotlessly clean, comfy firm beds, great shower, well equipped kitchen. Loved listening to the chimes of the church bell, the fountains and the cicadas

Cons: A few stairs, that’s all

The holiday with a perfect view

Pros: Estrela do Mar is a great apartment. It is located almost in the center of Albufeira, yet away from the loudness of the nightlife. At the entrance to the building there is a British styled bar, a supermarket and a pharmacy, so if you need anything, you can just go downstairs. There is also a functional lift, so if you have heavy bags you don’t have to carry them up the stairs. The communication with the owners went smoothly, after stating the estimated hour of our arrival there was a person waiting for us with the keys to show us the way to the apartment, which was a really nice touch. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped with plenty of towels and a few coffees provided for a start. However the most amazing thing is the balcony with the view of the ocean. You don’t have to go on a beach to feel like you’re on one!

Cons: The apartment could benefit from the bedside cabinets with small lamps.

Love this place and will defo be back!

Pros: Had breakfast at the bar down stair and it was great!The location is brill,so close to everything but nice and quiet at night.

Pros: we arrived earlier than expected and sent a text to the owner who then met us outside the property, she could have left us waiting until the arranged time but didn't, she was a very nice lady! , property is very clean, has everything you need , a beautiful sea view and in a great location close to everything!

Great value for money, amazing view and great location, friendly hosts

Pros: -The view was amazing, I didn’t even want to leave my flat as I just wanted to stay on the balcony and enjoy looking at the ocean. -Location was super accessible too, 5min walk to the ocean and best restaurants, 30 seconds to the supermarket and there also smaller food shops nearby. There is also a Thai massage salon next to the property which I visited on my last evening (note that most shops have 5 euro minimum spend if you are paying by card) -The host was amazing, arranged a very easy key pick up and also warned about the distance from the bus station to the property in advance. They also left me a surprise present for my birthday which was unexpected and really nice :) -Kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook your own food, plenty of spare towels are also provided. -Good wifi connection

Cons: -The sound isolation is poor, you can hear the neighbours talking in the hallway. It didn’t bother me, but if you are a light sleeper that could be an issue. Also there’s a church next to the property and they ring the church bell every hour. -There was only one tiny shower gel provided and no hand soap, I had my own travel shower gel with me, but I ran out of both. -Be careful to place the air conditioning pipe in the plastic bottle that is on the balcony. On the first night I didn’t know about it and the water from the pipe leaked on the balcony and left a puddle

Location, view, amenities and host all perfect. Can’t wait to return.

Pros: Everything. Spotless. Extra touches. Quiet neighbours. Amazing location. Most of all the view we woke to everyday was perfect.

Stay calm, relaxe and enjoy

Pros: The room was clean and had a great view of the sea. The location was really good.

Cons: Be patient when you arrive, you might have to contact the Agency (Booking) to get in contact with the Owner to get the keys. But other than that, the stay was great! Theres a big portion that will need to be paid in Cash, so just be ready to have it. The Owner informs you of this 2 to 3 days before you arrive, we were prepared so it was ok.

Pros: Clean apt had extra bedding and towels. Flight was delayed however staff where waiting and great communication. Highly recommended 😍

Brilliant place

Pros: Loved everything.appartment had everything you need they really put a lot of thought to their guests need.place was spotless too.view was amazing and shops bars all on your doorstep ..quiet at night so best of both worlds.will return in a heartbeat .owners lovely people give you the key and leave you to enjoy thanks for such a lovely experience.

Cons: There's nothing not to like its perfect.
