Pros: The property was lovely. I actually stayed there two years ago, loved it then and the improvements that have been made to the bathrooms have really enhanced the experience. Lovely villa in my favourite part of Portugal.

Cons: The only thing that let it down was the fact the house over the road was being completely renovated. I’m sure the owners weren’t aware but everyday from 8am apart from Sunday there was incredibly loud drilling and workmen yelling all day. I just feel like it’s something for the owners need to be aware off as at such an expensive price point you should be able to relax by the pool in peace and that wasn’t really possible.
