Villa Mirante

Peaceful stay with fabulous views.

Pros: The villa was lovely, bright and spacious with everything we needed for our stay and cleaned to a high standard. The property manager met us at the villa to show us around on arrival and allowed us to leave the key in the key safe to check out early in the morning.

Cons: The only thing I'd suggest could be improved is the track from the main road to the Villa isn't concreted and Uber drivers wouldn't come down it, so we had to walk to the road to meet them. We managed to get our hire car in and out in the wet and dry though, so it's not impassable, you just have to be a bit careful.

Large, clean villa with a great pool and lots of outdoor seating areas.

Pros: Large villa and great pool. Very well equipped, especially in the kitchen. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms and towels provided for showering and for use around the pool. Great communication with the villa hosts and we were kept informed at every stage. Lovely views. Air con in every room and plenty of sun beds and outdoor seating around the villa. Very clean indoors and out.

Cons: The only problem we encountered was to do with taxis and not the villa directly. Uber were easy to use but all apart from 2 didn't come up the drive to the property and we had to walk down the long, uneven drive to the road, difficult for us due to one member of our party being partially sighted. It seemed that the full address of the villa only directed the taxis to the road at the end of the drive. A car would be useful but not essential in our opinion as Uber were very good at getting us right into the town and again when being picked up.

Pros: It was a great place to stay for a week. The hosts were great with communication and responded very quickly to any questions. It is very roomy and there are great views from the house. It's quiet and there is a secure place to park. It wasn't pool weather when we were there, but the pool looked very nice. If you want it heated you have to pay a charge for that. The kitchen was pretty nice and it was easy to prepare food. The washing machine was a nice plus.

Cons: They only give one garbage bag and we had to buy some more since we stayed there a week and ate some meals there.
