A clean, spacious beautiful villa in the perfect location.

Pros: The amount of space, the facilities, the balconies and the location. All were perfect for our stay. We had everything we needed. The beds were hard but comfy.

Pros: Very nice two bedroom house with both bedrooms having an ensuite bathroom plus a separate toilet downstairs. There is a sizeable lounge/dining room with a decent sized Android tv. Being a house there was no breakfast provided but the Xenia restaurant 5 mins walk away did a nice breakfast.

Myself and my family enjoyed our stay here perfect for what we wanted.

Pros: The property is in a good location near to various beaches and excellent restaurants. It was very nice and quiet while we were there which I wasn't expecting. Facilities were all fine and we had no complaints at all.

Lovely comfortable, spacious house in a beautiful location

Pros: We loved the sense of space in this house - including the large living/dining room. It’s set in a lovely, quiet community and it’s an easy walk/short drive from stunning Ançao beach and Quinta do Lago (we loved the walk there along the boardwalk through the Ria Formosa). The house is well kept, nicely decorated and has sunny terraces back and front (plus a shadier ground floor terrace at the back). We’d definitely book again.

Cons: Nothing really. Access to a pool would be good in hotter months - but apparently you can use the outdoor one belonging to the hotel behind the house in summer, so that would solve that. A few extra bin bags/dishwasher tablets/laundry capsules would be useful too as there was only one of each left for guests so we had to buy more of each.

A really wonderful host

Pros: The host was very attentive, kind and generous and left treats for our arrival as well as helping us with check in/check out times. She had clearly put herself into decorating the house and has ensured that it’s well equipped with everything you might need. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. It’s only a 20 minute walk to an incredibly beautiful beach and is in an extremely quiet and peaceful area. The house and garden are in shade which would be very good in the Summer months. Wi-Fi was good The house is in a very wealthy area and has tidy and beautiful surroundings. I’d recommend combining your visit here with another area too though as this is very much a holiday home/resort area which is beautiful but doesn’t really give the feel of Portugal. There’s no local culture or community infrastructure.

Cons: It would be great to have recycling bins or instructions for recycling-we found the big recycling bins at the end of the street and there are excellent facilities for this but some information/bins in the house would help. Other eco efforts would be great too-e.g. providing eco cleaning products/toilet cleaners; avoiding chemical air fresheners; systems communicated to show if towels have been used; supplying shampoo etc in large refillable containers rather than the little miniatures.
