Pros: The owners had thought of everything. Excellent facilities, very clean, comfortable beds. The roof terrace was an added bonus. Location was perfect for exploring everything in central Faro and close to train and bus station.

Pros: The house was spacious and very clean with great facilities. Narrow street so it’s very rare for cars to pass (and therefore less noise).

Cons: The street it is located on doesn’t look the nicest but feels very safe.

Pros: The apartment is very clean, decoration and furnishings and fittings are of a very high standard. Location is very convenient for the old town, a 5 minute walk to harbour area. Great advice and tips from hosts about places to visit were welcome

Cons: The actual street is clearly going through some upgrading as many of the properties were either empty or undergoing work. On three of the 5 nights there was a lot of noise until early morning. I don't think the owners can do much about the noise outside

Pros: Had a wonderful stay at casa de Madalalena.Location was great The house had everything we needed and was immaculate.Luis was very helpful to us .We will be returning.

Superbly refurbished small single storey house in a quiet street.

Pros: Superbly refurbished small artisan single storey cottage with two bedrooms and a well equiped kitchen with coffee maker, oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Everything was spotless. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Very quiet at night as there is a bedroom at the rear as well as one facing the lane. Good TV. Received several messages from the hosts asking if everything was going well - it was.

Cons: Wi Fi was a bit iffy at times but generally fine. A bit short on the shower gel.
