Fabulous apartment

Pros: We had a fabulous time here. We loved the property and location. It was very clean and comfortable. We did have a car so it was easy to get around. We had a bonus of having an on suite which made a big difference as we were a group of friends so had our own toilet and shower. I would definitely recommend this property as we also had an outside sitting area and BBQ. Very near the property was a restaurant which served great food. I think this area is best if you have a car so you can get out and about. We absolutely loved it here.

Lovely stay at Casa Vela Sao Rafael

Pros: Fantastic stay. Apartment clean and very well equipped. Quiet location, 15 minute downhill walk to marina. We used Uber for shopping and to get to and from Old Town which cost €4-7. Fantastic little restaurant within 2 minute walk from apartment. Paulo was a fantastic host, very responsive if you needed anything.

Cons: Mattress in main bedroom very hard, could do with a new one. The pool got very busy and we struggled to get sun beds a couple of days during our stay.

Quality property, above our expectations, in a quiet area.

Pros: Sea view. Restaurant 2 mins walk with good menu and friendly welcome. Apartment very well provisioned with all we needed for self-catering and spotless.

Cons: Mattress a bit hard - needs a topper! Shower temperature not easy to regulate, but not a real problem

Pros: Tout était parfait...conforme aux photos. Très bonne communication avec notre hote. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

Pros: A beautiful Quiet area with a sea view, close to a beach with a fantastic restaurant BASICALLY on the doorstep. The house was spacious, clean and well equiped. A small beach and stunning rock cliffs are 10 min walk out the front door. We felt out of the way of any unwanted noise or crowds. The location was superb, a 15 min walk from the Marina Wifi signal is excellent.The front garden is perfect for lazing in with the,sun present most of the day. I highly recommend. The host Paulo was very helpful and friendly. I would certainly visit again.

Cons: The beds are not very comfortable. One of the single beds is also very creaky and when you move it is noisy enough to wake you up. If the owner upgraded the mattresses and sorted creaky bed then its all perfecto. I DIDN'T LIKE HAVING TO LEAVE.😂💖
