A very enjoyable stay

Pros: Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen. Great view from balcony and good air con. Nice bathrooms.

Cons: The photos of the balcony showing white table and chairs. Rather like next door. Our balcony had black furniture, including a giant table which is far too big for the balcony. Because it took up so much space it made the balcony seem smaller than it was.

Pros: Brilliant location - very large apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Brilliant views over the beach and sea from the large balcony. Large utility area with washing machine and cleaning equipment. Also attached to the wall outside is a clothes line so you can dry your laundry. (As long as you don’t mind your smalls hanging out for everyone to see! ) (apartment is on the 3rd floor) Behind the apartment is a large supermarket, below is a good pizza place . Some brilliant cafes - including the one out the apartment on the left (Pão do Povo Pastelaria) and another one to the right called boba-cha. Behind the apartment is a brilliant restaurant called fernandos hideaway - fantastic steaks so well worth visiting.

Cons: Lift broke and it took 2 days to be fixed - the lift is the responsibility of the apartment block and not the company who rent the apartment. They did chase the management company for us. We had a buggy which was frustrating carrying it up and down the stairs (apartment is on the 3rd floor) Gas ran out and we had no hot water - called the company you rent the apartment from via the emergency number and they came out pretty quickly. Apartment is getting tatty in places - it needs a bit of TLC and some cosmetic work to the place. Including Couple of the door handles came off. We purchased ant killer as there was a lot around. However expected as building is old. Kitchen equipment was good - but had various sizes of wine glasses which was disappointing. The balcony is great to sit on in the evening - so would have been nice if all the wine glasses matched.

Pros: Spacious, clean, great amenities and fantastic location

Cons: The hot/cold water mix in the shower was not achievable. We were not able to get the AC nor the dishwasher to work.

Apart from the unforgivable lack of information to collect the keys, the stay was lovely.

I highly recommend this apartment! It was truly wonderful!

Pros: Proximity to the beach, the comfy beds, the bright beautiful apartment, the back room off the bedrooms to do laundry and hang clothes, the ample cupboard space, having two bathrooms, coffee maker, espresso, toaster, pots etc

Cons: Well, I think the couch needs replacing and there was no comfy place for the third person to sit.
