A memorable stay made even better by an amazing host.

Pros: The apartment was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The décor was tasteful and thoughtfully done, creating a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Everything we needed was provided, with all the essentials available, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Nelson the host, was absolutely amazing I honestly can’t rave enough about him. He made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and is genuinely such a lovely person. We had a great experience overall and would happily recommend this place to others.

Pros: The apartment is well located - near the train and bus station. The duplex apartment we had was fitted out very well and was spacious with the mezzanine floor and there is outside space too that isn’t overlooked.

An outstanding stay - exceptional host!

Pros: An outstanding stay from start to finish. The host Mr. Nelson is an exceptional gentlrman. He was so kind, friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely caring and went above and beyond my expectations. I normally keep my reviews measured but this experience truly deserves special praise. Nelson is easily the best host I’ve encountered, and the Roots Apartments is stunning: spacious, beautifully kept, and incredibly comfortable. I would return in a heartbeat 😊

Stunning new apartment

Pros: Gorgeous apartment, in a newly completed building with a retained facade. Loads of space, very nicely equipped, everything is new and of good quality. Location is very close to the centre of Faro with all that has to offer. The roof terrace does not have any view, but is a very pleasant place to sit. We didn't want to leave!

Cons: Not really a negative, but Nelson gave us so many recommendations we forgot half of them - perhaps include them in the information book in the apartment - this would also make the 'check-in' process quicker!

Couldn't have asked for more.

Pros: We traveled with our 1 year old daughter and the apartment had plenty of space and everything we could've possibly needed - including a cot with bedding. The host was so helpful and even bought round a bottle of wine to help us celebrate my birthday, and organised us a taxi back to the airport with a car seat.

Cons: My only criticism is that the sofa was quite small for us to relax on in the evening - not such a problem if you don't have a child going to bed early-on in the evening!

Amazing! Would recommend staying here. Host Nelson was very welcoming and made us feel like home.

Pros: We liked everything about this property and host Nelson. We liked that Nelson arranged for us to stay an extra night in the apartment as we had one night booked in Roots Hotel on our arrival. Nelson was able to rearrange all this for us with cancelling the night at the hotel. We left a speaker behind and Nelson very kindly posted back to us in Scotland.

Absolutely fabulous apartment and will definitely return. Very clean and facilities excellent.

Pros: It was spotlessly clean and looked brand new. Very tastefully decorated and lots of space. Access was very efficient and Nelson was very helpful and gave us some fabulous recommendations.

Cons: Nothing just wish we could have stayed longer. Parking was an issue however we were aware there was no parking with the apartment.
