My Place @ Faro City Views

Clean and tidy

Pros: A lovely apartment on 9th floor of building (with 2 lifts). Great welcome from André. Only €5 for Bolt transfer from airport. Clean apartment with cleaning products supplied including dishwasher/washing machine pods. It would be nice to have some cleaning cloths. Faro is small and only short walk to marina and many shops/restaurants.

Cons: Small request would be cloths for cleaning/wiping down and a couple of larger mugs to go with the espresso/teacups

Pros: Location was excellent an easy walk to the shops and marina. Accomodation was clean and newly renovated and a good price. The owner met us and showed us around the apartment and even left us a bottle of wine. Plenty of good restaurants in the town with sensible prices.

Cons: Faro is only big enough for two days before you need to go further afield to keep your interest unless the weather is good and you can be in a beach.

Perfect location, great facilities, lovely host!

Pros: The location is perfect. You can explore everything by foot from here. The marina, the market, old town, bus station and train station - everything is within 10 minutes walk (this is with 2 small children!) The apartment has everything you need to cook, even salt and oil. Everything is very well thought out and I really liked that André took the time to show us everything when we arrived so there were no doubts during our stay.

Pros: The host was very nice and helpful, he provided all the information about the city. Everyhing is in walking distance, easy to get a bus to the beach. The apartment was very clean, it has everything what we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to stay, I definiately will go back :)

Nice place to be for days in faro

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was extremely kind and accommodating, especially with check-in and helping us with our luggage. The location was ideal – close to everything we needed. We’d definitely come back and can fully recommend this accommodation to others. Thank you for everything!

Pleasant and comfortable

Just great!

Pros: We loved everything about our stay – the location, the apartment, and especially the host. Andre is an excellent host – proactive, kind, and always available for any questions we had. He gave us great recommendations and really went out of his way to make us feel welcome, which we truly appreciated. The location is outstanding – just a few minutes from the city center, yet in a quieter area with wider streets and available parking. While street parking in front of the house is paid, there is a free parking lot just behind the nearby church, which we used during our stay. As for the apartment itself, it’s very comfortable and well-equipped for a longer stay. Everything was clean, functional, and thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommended – we would gladly stay here again!

Faro break

Pros: Accomodation was excellent. The host Andre was exceptional and could not have done anymore to assist us. The loation was central only 5 minutes walk to the centre, while not noisy.

Cons: High level of derelicton around Faro

Pros: We arrived earlier than the check in time because the rain was preventing us from walking around and André kindly accepted to make our check in one hour before expected time. He was very helpful in providing many practical information on the neighborhood. He also checked during our stay if we needed any help. The apartment was super clean and with all needed kitchen utensils. It is very close to the city center.

Cons: Nothing about the apartment. Being on the ninth floor of the building, we did not find emergency instructions in case of fire.

Perfect location and spotless apartment

Pros: Very central location and the apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean. Andre was exceptionally helpful and went through everything with us.
