Casa da Baixa

Clean and comfy in a great location.

Pros: Great location and lovely apartment. The host communicated all the information we needed to let ourselves in with the lock box and left some fruit and biscuits as a welcome gift. It was really easy to explore the city from the apartment and we had a great stay!

Perfect location

Our stay was wonderful; everything went beyond our expectations.

Pros: We had an amazing stay at this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself was beautiful and well-equipped, the location was perfect, and the communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We could always reach David quickly via WhatsApp, and he even gave us great recommendations for fun activities, bars, and places to visit. We truly had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Excellent stay, very helpful hosts and wonderful location - apartment had everything you need.

Pros: Great host - communication easy, on hand to answer questions. Nice local cafe/bar we were there every day (Ponto Expresso). Caught ferry over to the beach. Apartment perfect location and has everything you need. We would visit again.

Cons: No real negatives. Could see the planes on way to the airport and got used to - added to the entertainment. End of summer festival in the old town was on for the weekend - noisy as expected. It was our last night and didn't bother us too much.

It was a short stay, but totally enjoyed every bit of it, especially the neatness of the property

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Baixa, location, comfort, amenities all excellent, highly recommend a stay here.

Pros: Casa da Baixa is an excellent base for exploring Faro, we had no need for a car as everything is close by, shops, restaurants, the marina and bus and train station are only a short walk away. David the host has thought of everything, the property had all we needed and more and everything was exceptionally clean. Communication was excellent and David was very helpful.

Cons: Nothing! Everything was wonderful.

Excellent spacious apartment in great location

Pros: Everything about this apartment was top notch, from the seamless checkin to the check-out. It has every conceivable appliance and equipment required. Tiny cosy balcony at the back with tables and chairs. Balconies on the front too. Big enough for 6 people although we were only two. Within walking distance to everything, even the train station and bus station. Aircons are fantastic. A great laundry room, big lounge and big bedrooms. You can 100% trust the ratings on booking.com. Host was incredible and communication was great. A nice touch was the fruit and biscuits provided by the host on arrival

The perfect apartment, comfortable and well located.

Pros: This property has it all. It is spotlessly clean and is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break, particularly if you’d prefer to self-cater. It is very well located for accessing the old town, marina, bustling streets and bars and restaurants. It is exceptionally spacious and allows for ample privacy. The host was just the best ever. He checked on us every day to see that all was ok and offered assistance as required. He left a welcome package of fruit, cakes and water. Just amazing hospitality which I have never experienced the like.

Cons: There was nothing we disliked however this property would not be suitable for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs as it is an upstairs apartment with quite a few marble steps. (Just an FYI for some)

Pros: The apartment is excellent,very spacious and in a perfect location. Ideal for a bigger group, two bathrooms are a huge plus. The host David was super helpful,responded to messages very quickly and even gave us the option for a late check out. Some fruit, cookies and water provided for us in the kitchen were a nice touch. Excellent service, would gladly come back if we ever get a chance! Thank you David!
