Sea View Downtown - Albufeira

Absolutely fantastic apartment

Pros: Absolutely beautiful apartment near the old town. (6-7 minute walk). Fantastic views of the old town, beach and sea from our lovely balcony. The apartment has everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay here again . 🥰👍🏼

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like. The only small negative was we arrived after 10pm and we had no water or anything to drink in the apartment until morning. A bottle of water left would have been lovely.

Just book this place straight away! You will not regret it!!

Pros: I could not recommend this apartment anymore! Helena was absolutely fantastic. So friendly and helpful! We didn’t arrive till late in the evening but she was still there to greet us and ensure we were comfortable. 2 minute walk away was a Supermarket and it was 10 minutes walk away from Old Town. There is a fantastic place for breakfast called Georgina’s Cafe near the escalators before you go down to Old Town. However you also have everything you need to make / cook your own in the apartment. It’s a shame I didn’t take much photos of the property but soon as we walked in our first expressions were ‘wow!’

Cons: In the main bathroom be carful with the door. It doesn’t close properly and loads of water leaked in the bathroom floor so we had to mop after each shower. In the other bathroom there was a slight drainage smell.

Would definitely recommend this property

Comfort away from home

Pros: Very well equipped, comfortable, spacious, spotless clean apartment. Comfortable beds which is a massive plus for me. Great having 2 bathrooms, plenty of hot water for showers. Everything you need in kitchen, not that we cooked ☺️ but it’s there if needed.Big family table in lounge and balcony. Lovely comfy sofa. Not far to walk into town and beach. Our host Helena was welcoming and very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Beautiful property, well equipped with a private pool. Helena was a wonderful host.

Cons: Nothing the property was excellent. A little further out than I generally stay when visiting Albuferia. On a hill so not ideal if mobility issues however taxis are cheap.

Lovely apartment overlooking Albufeira.

Pros: Lovely apartment overlooking Albufeira with excellent amenities. Helena was a very helpful host and helped us have a wonderful week with plenty of great recommendations for things to do. Great location for exploring the Algarve.

Cons: Nothing other than the noise from the bars in the centre of Albufeira can permeate up to the apartment even though it’s high up and some distance away. Not a major issue and even enjoyed some of the performers from a distance. If you are high up in the “bowl” overlooking Albufeira you are going to hear the bars from any location.

Pros: The apartament was very spacious and clean too. Air con in livingroom helped keep the place nice and cool.

Pros: Very well equipped apartment, decent location too! Had the pool to ourselves during the stay.

Cons: You can hear music from the bars till very late but we did manage to sleep ok, only to be expected for the close location to the Old Town!

Simply stunning!

Pros: Stunning view! Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment was super clean, bright and spacious. Any amenities you could think of are available which is a big plus especially for anyone who might stay longer. We felt right at home and relaxed in the apartment and the host, Helena, is absolutely lovely! We loved our stay here and would come again!

Cons: Though it didn't bother me and I was able to sleep like a baby, you should note that there is noise at night coming from the clubs downtown. To me it registered more like background/white noise since it's coming from a distance, but if you're a light sleeper you might want to use earplugs.
