Perfect stay in a beautiful apartment in quiet neighbourhood

Pros: A perfect stay at this beautiful, well equipped apartment in Albufeira. Location is an easy 5-10min walk from beach, restaurants, cafes, small bars, a well stocked Spar, and Old Town, but in a very peaceful neighbourhood area away from the touristy spots. Loads of parking. I really felt like a local by the end of my stay. Apartment was spotless and has everything you need for self-catering, with well equipped kitchen, large comfy bed, large sofa and dining table, a lovely enclosed balcony for breakfast in the sun, and a laundry area with drying racks to hang wet beach wear which was well used. Host was communicative and helpful, I'd highly recommend this apartment especially for solo travellers or couples.

Cons: There was a strong smell from the bathroom sink drain which is probably due to infrastructure, and the hot water didn't last long for showers. Like other reviews, the apartment is cold at night in the winter but host provided heaters and blankets, and it would be perfectly cool in the summer. A couple of extra kitchen bits like wooden spoons, tea towels, small chopping board, and bigger cheese grater would have been useful, but otherwise it was perfectly stocked with enough condiments that I didn't want for anything.

Pros: The place is nice and big has a cute indoor terrace to sit and chill. The location is good if you are planning to move around and explore the Algarve.

Cons: The most important in the bedroom there was only 1 lamp working not even the main light was working so it was very dark. Also the batteries of the tv remote weren't working so I had to change them. And I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have a lot of heavy luggage and you are alone cuz there is no elevator and the stairs are very slippery the day I arrived there I almost fell with my big suitcase because of this.

Pros: Quiet location, but still not far away from (busy and noisy) city center. All accessible by walking. Well equipped apartment, good size. Smooth check-in after communication was established via WhatsApp (communication via Booking channel eratic !)

Location excellent

Pros: Location excellent, host and his dad (very windy, door slammed shut whilst we were outside looking at porch area and became locked out, dad to the resuce) lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Great cafe directly opposite, 7 min walk into Old Town, plenty of free parking outside apartment. 30 min walk to The Strip.

Cons: The apartment was very cold, we stayed during one of the wetest, coldest weeks this year, no heating unfortunately 🥶 Location is great, quiet area, the neighbours however were very noisy late at night and early hours. Shower doesnt drain away so bathroom flooded twice.

Beautiful, homely apartment

Pros: The apartment is immaculately cleaned, tidy and well-furnished. I felt very comfortable and would recommend this apartment to other sólo travellers or couples. Located just a few minutes walking distance from the beach, old town and several shops and eateries, this is the perfect location. The facilities are modern and well-considered, the host ensured that any additional toiletries, cooking equipment and bedding is provided. You will not need for anything staying here! Thank you to the host who was available via WhatsApp to answer questions regarding check-in.

Pros: This is just an amazing appartment. You will get even more than need. Well equiped, cozy and very comfortable. Location is quite and very close to the city center. A lot of supermarkets around.
